Larieann Kump

Jazz/Lyrical Instructor



Larieann was the owner and director of Larieann’s Salt City STARS Dance Academy for 27 years. She has 41 years dancing experience, and 29 years teaching/owning a studio. She is trained in tap, ballet and jazz. Larieann led her show team to many State and National titles. Her instruction and choreography has been used in NFL halftimes, NBAA halftimes and nationally televised bowl games. Her awards include: Stars National Director of the Year, Studio and Director of the Year, Choreographer of the Year and many high point and overall awards forher team and soloists. Larieann has taught and motivated many dance teachers and directors from across the nation at conventions in Nevada, California and Utah.Her background includes:

Awarded 4 year, full tuition scholarship to the University of Utah Chosen cast member of the original movie “Footloose” Larieann continues to train in dance. She has taken classes from top instructors in Salt Lake, Boston, Las Vegas and Hollywood. She attends workshops in dance with an emphasis on teaching and business annually.
