I have updated the Google doc to reflect the Nationals info I have been given, please check the doc to be sure your info is correct.  Team Mom's please follow up with anyone who may not be on this list, encourage them to complete the info ASAP. As the doc explains we would like to request that our rooms be near each can help by making a special request in your online reservation under Special Requests - "Empower Dance - Misty Peterson”

Please ensure each dancer has a bed.  There is a time change, the kids will be dancing a lot and we will be there for a long time.  By completing the google doc I can match up as many people as possible to keep the price as low as possible.

This info needs to be complete before we go to the Las Vegas Competition.

If you cannot edit the google doc send the info to

“While in Florida” Info:

Transportation- the parking fee at the hotel seems to be more reasonable then last year. If you are renting a car

The resort fee includes: •Pool access

•Health club access

•Fitness center access

•Sporting facilities or equipment

•Shuttle service

•Internet access

•Phone calls

Unless otherwise stated, these fees are not mandatory. They only apply if guests choose to use these services.

The following fees and deposits are charged by the property at time of service, check-in, or check-out.

•Fee for full breakfast: $27.95 for adults and $14.50 for children (approximately)

•Self parking fee: $10.00 per night (in/out privileges)  I guess the self parking lot is under construction so they are shuttling to and from the hotel from that lot.

•Valet parking fee: $22.00 per night (in/out privileges)

•Pet fee: $150.00 per accommodation, per week plus $100.00 one-time cleaning fee

•Bring Cash for tipping

The above list may not be comprehensive. Fees and deposits may not include tax and are subject to change.

Food: There are two nicer sit down restaurants and a walk-up market. There is also a walk up restaurant at the pool. And you may be able to order food in the lobby area. All of the food we had was delicious but expensive. Each room has a small refrigerator. You can use a grocery delivery app to purchase groceries for your room when you get there. I used Insta Cart which had options at Public’s, Costco, and Walgreens or Rite Aid. Usually they give free delivery for your first week or so. All of the items are marked up but having those items was priceless.

We ordered:

Options for a quick healthy breakfast

Options for quick healthy sack lunches for the kids to take to class.

Lots of water bottles and snacks.

You can also order Pizza and or use a restaurant delivery service just plan to meet your purchases at the front. There are restraunts and souvenir shops in walking distance (about 10min) if you want to get out.

The concierge desk sells the discount tickets available through Intrigue. You’ll notice the discount isn’t significant;) There are 1 million things to do in Florida, our family has gone to the Sea World parks and the Disney World parks - if you need info on those let me know.

Disney Springs (like Downtown Disney) - the hotel shuttle goes there and it has lots of restaurants and shops if you want to get out and enjoy some Disney.

The hotel pool is really fun and the kids really liked spending extra time there. They also had a 4th of July party at the pool. There is a Gym, Coin Laundry, and Spa.

Weather: While we were there it was 80-90 degrees and 100% humidity;) It rained around 3 or 4 pm every day. The rain was warm and a welcome reprieve from the sun - we were in the park one night when it was poring and we walked on every ride no wait. You could bring ponchos and clothing that drys easily or plan to do some wash.-
