ACADEMY NIGHT

Classes Offered for Beginning and Intermediate Levels:
• Tots Classes
➢ Your dancer will work on ballet positions and other basic ballet steps. They will learn dance
skills that will help them work towards more difficult moves while also being creative and having
fun. They will learn one routine to perform in our Christmas recital and one routine for our spring
recital.
• Combo Classes
➢ Your dancer will learn basic ballet skills as well as simple jazz technique. They will learn
about rhythm and how to be creative with their dancing. In this class your dancer will learn one
routine to perform in our Christmas recital and one routine for our spring recital.
• Jazz Technique
➢ Your dancer will work on strength and flexibility while also learning jazz technique. In this
class we will work on leaps, turns, and jumps to prepare your dancer for the next level. Your
dancer will also learn one routine to perform in our Christmas recital and one routine for the
spring recital.
• Ballet Technique
➢ Dancers that register for ballet classes will be placed in a class according to their age and
skill level. These classes will also have dancers from our competition teams in them. This will be
a non-performing class.
• Tumbling/Acro
➢ Your dancer will work on the strength and flexibility needed for tumbling and performing acro
tricks. They will be placed in a class based on level and these classes may also have dancers
from our competition teams in them. They will work on basic skills such as cartwheels,
handstands, and backbends and will work towards more advanced skills such as front and back
walkovers, aerials, and handsprings.
• Hip Hop
➢ Your dancer will be placed in a class based on level and experience. They will have the
option to compete with the class they are in and/or perform in our spring recital.

Additional Fees:
• Registration $40 or $75 per family
• Winter Recital (if applicable)$15 due November 15th
• Spring Recital (if applicable)$45 per family due April 25th
• Costume (if applicable) $70 due January 15th
• Studio Pictures In May Cost, date, and time TBA
• Studio Spirit Wear (optional) Items and cost TBA
